ReadyNet GotW3 Firmware
In order to complete these steps, the user will have to download the Firmware.
- User ID /Password is the router login.
- SSID/Pass Phrase is the Wi-Fi login
This can be uploaded onto a ReadyNet router with or without a sim card.
SIM card goes into the ReadyNet router Chip down, missing corner first.
When logged into a router that does not have the update, you will see that the logo on the top left of the screen shows the ReadyNet logo. Once the correct Firmware is loaded onto the router, you will see the Gotw3 logo. This is how you can tell beforehand whether a customer needs to update their firmware.
If customer does not have internet to download firmware;
Log into router
Click NETWORK tab
Click LTE tab
Next to APN: type “broadband’
Click save and reboot
This should be enough to get service to work, if the customer has signal and an active SIM. Once the router is connected, have the customer download the firmware and upload it to the router.

The ReadyNet router will only show options for bands that are available based on the location of the device.
BASIC INFORMATION
The following are the LTE LED statuses: (4G light – 3rd light from the right)
(note: SIM only initializes on router boot)
This means that if a SIM card is inserted into the router before it activates, the router will not recognize an active sim. You must unplug the router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait 5-7 minutes for system to reboot.
WiFi in the router is enabled by default. The WiFi settings, i.e. Enable/Disable; SSID is located under the “Wireless -> Basic” tab, and the Passphrase is located on “Wireless -> Security” tab in the router GUI.

The following changes are made to the router when gotW3 firmware is uploaded:
3 and 4 are steps that disable the blue WAN port in the back of the readynet router, as this is not something our customers will use.
